Yorba Linda, California

Yorba Linda, the 'Land of Gracious Living,' is a spacious hillside city in northeast Orange County known for top schools, equestrian trails, and one of the highest median incomes of any U.S. city its size.

History

The land traces to Bernardo Yorba's Rancho Cañón de Santa Ana, one of the great Californio ranchos. Richard Nixon was born here in 1913 in a farmhouse his father built, and the city incorporated in 1967, growing into a premier residential community while keeping over 100 miles of horse and hiking trails.

Things to do

Tour the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum, ride or hike the city's extensive trail network, play Black Gold Golf Club's canyon course, and picnic along the lakes at Yorba Regional Park.
