Laguna Woods is a city in Orange County that occupies approximately four-square miles. It is known for being one of the world's premier retirement communities for active adults.
History
In 1962, developer Ross Cortese purchased 3,500 acres of Moulton Ranch to create Leisure World Laguna Hills. On March 24, 1999, Laguna Woods officially became Orange County's 32nd city.
