Buena Park, California
Buena Park is a family-friendly city in northwest Orange County, best known as the home of Knott's Berry Farm and its walkable E-Zone entertainment district.
History
Founded in 1887 by James A. Whitaker and incorporated in 1953, Buena Park began as dairy and farming country. In the 1920s, Walter Knott began selling boysenberries and fried chicken dinners from a roadside stand — a family business that grew into Knott's Berry Farm, America's first theme park.
Things to do
Ride the coasters at Knott's Berry Farm, cool off at Knott's Soak City, cheer the joust at Medieval Times, and pick up pastries at the famous Porto's Bakery.
